A few of the questions guests ask before they book. If yours is not here, please contact us.
Standard check-in is no earlier than 17:00 on the arrival day. Standard check-out is no later than 10:00 on the departure day.
Early check-in and late check-out are not permitted except by prior arrangement, and may be subject to an additional charge.
A deposit of 20% of the total price is payable at the time of booking. The balance is due no later than 56 days (eight weeks) before arrival.
If you book within 56 days of arrival, the total price is payable in full at the time of booking.
Yes. A security deposit is taken before the start of the rental by pre-authorisation on your bank card, using Swikly. The amount is confirmed at the time of booking.
The pre-authorisation is normally released 14 days after departure, provided the property is left as agreed. We do not accept cash on arrival for the damage deposit, and the entry codes are not released until the pre-authorisation has been obtained.
Please cancel in writing by email. Our standard charges are:
If we are able to re-let the property, the charge is reduced to reflect what we recover. We recommend travel and cancellation insurance at the time of booking. Full details are in our booking terms and conditions.
Only by prior agreement, and not in every property. Pets are not accepted in the Venice apartment. Please contact us before you book. Where a pet is accepted, the fee is €100 per stay.
Pets brought without written consent incur a penalty of €400 per week (or part of a week), plus any cleaning or damage.
No. All properties are strictly non-smoking and non-vaping inside. If evidence of smoking or vaping is found after check-out, €400 is deducted from the security deposit for additional cleaning and odour removal.
Each property has a maximum occupancy, shown on its page. That number must not be exceeded without our prior written consent. The property is for private holiday use by the party named on the booking.
No. The price on the website is for the accommodation unless we say otherwise. Lift passes, ski hire, lessons and transfers are arranged separately. Once you have booked, myAMSRentals includes supplier links and any promotional codes we can offer.
Many properties have their own space. Check the properties with parking page, or the note on the property itself. If there is no space, book one in a valley car park through Méribel Parking. As a rule, you may not park on the street unless it is signed that you can.
Yes. The property price includes the taxes that apply to the accommodation, including VAT if any, and the tourist bed tax.
No. The property is for the party named on the booking, up to the stated occupancy, and is for private holiday use. Parties, events and commercial use need our written agreement in advance.
Please tell us as soon as you can, while you are still there, so we can look into it. We are unlikely to be able to deal with a complaint raised only after you have left.
Email or call +44 (0)1743 340623. Office hours are Monday to Sunday, 9:30 to 20:30 GMT.
If we cancel your booking, other than for an event outside our control, we refund in full everything you have paid us for the accommodation. We cannot meet other expenses you may have incurred, such as flights.
Chambéry is the nearest, about an hour away. Geneva, Lyon and Grenoble are each about two hours to two and a quarter. With a 17:00 check-in, a useful landing time is about 15:00 at Chambéry, or about 13:15 to 13:30 at the others. More detail is on the travel page.
By private transfer, shared transfer, scheduled bus, hire car, or train. We do not include transfers in the rental price.
For a party of seven or more, or when travelling with children, we recommend a private transfer, because they meet the flight and drop you at the door. Suggested companies, Altibus, and the train options are on the travel page.
Yes. Driving from Calais is about eight hours. By train, Eurostar runs from London St Pancras to Moûtiers, or you can change in Paris onto a TGV or TER to Moûtiers and continue up to the resort.
Yes. The chalets and apartments are available by the week, or for longer, in both summer and winter.
There is no welcome grocery pack. Supermarkets, bakeries and other food shops are listed for Méribel, Mottaret, Méribel 1600 and Méribel Village on the food shops page.
